Hey, I was a pookie too! Still cringe to this day when my mom says it. Mine came from Garfield, if I recall correctly.

BTW, loved the post about your son. My hubby, the chiropractor, was very impressed!

Polly.

Since we got him the book "What's Wrong Little Pookie," we've started calling 3B "Pookie." Looks like we should maybe curtail that before he's an adult, eh?

As for that car trip--you coming our way? You could meet 3B before he starts his sonnet reading course in December.

thegoodwitch: My Pookie-dom came from a book called "Pookie and the Gypsies," about a fairy-winged rabbit! We are big fans of chiropractic, and back in California we had the best chiro...we miss him! He adjusted my son all the time.

Papa B: Being called Pookie isn't so bad. Better than, say, Inmate #450275. Sounds like we're going to miss you guys on our trip. Phooey! Somehow we need to get down there at some point. Or you need to quit avoiding the NJ Turnpike!
